How is my data stored and protected?

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. All connections to TokScript use SSL/TLS encryption, and your transcript data is protected at rest.

What we store:

• Your account information (email, password hash)

• Your transcript history and saved content

• Your folder structure and organization

• Your usage data (for plan limits)

Who can see your data:

Only you. Your transcript history, saved content, and folders are private to your account. TokScript does not share, sell, or provide access to your individual data.

When you use the Chrome Extension, data captured from TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB and syncs with your TokScript account. This means your browsing data stays on your device and only the transcripts you save are stored on our servers.

When you use TokScript through MCP connectors (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.), the same security applies. Your MCP connection uses OAuth-based authentication — the AI platform never sees your TokScript password.
